Recording + Mixing

My passion for recording started with bedroom tracking on a Tascam 4-track tape machine, went digital with a pirated copy of Cool Edit Pro, and shortly after went legit with Pro Tools, where I’ve been nerding out since.

For the past 20 years, I’ve honed my skills and built my gear collection, recording my own solo work and bands, while also occasionally being blessed to watch and glean knowledge from a few top-tier engineers.

I’m excited to now offer my space and recording services to Missoula-area musicians.

My approach:

Your recording is forever, so I want to get it right, starting with a good source sound. I aim to co-create an environment where you can relax and focus on delivering your best performance.

My setup:

• Live tracking room with adjacent room for amp isolation

• Professional hardware mic pres + UAD unison pres

• Lots of nice mics

• Vintage upright piano

• Tons of creative plug-ins if you wanna get weird
